Our blue backyard

Adelaide’s blue backyard is made up of its stunning coastline and everything found under the adjoining sea. There’s a whole underwater world waiting to be explored and many unique and precious animals living right under our nose, on the beaches we visit.

Green Adelaide partners with many organisations and groups to help protect our blue backyard and provide opportunities for Adelaidians to learn about and connect with these special areas.
