Environmental Volunteering
I want to volunteer
There are many ways to connect, conserve and protect the environment.
One way is by volunteering your time to deliver on-ground action with a local volunteer group.
Adelaide’s volunteer groups deliver weeding, seed collection, monitoring and surveys, plantings, event management, customer service and much more to help look after the environment.
Is your business looking to make a difference? Why not consider environmental volunteering which helps create a cooler, greener Adelaide? It’s also a great way to connect with your teammates, give back to the community and enjoy the outdoors.
Green Adelaide supports more than 100 groups comprising of over 3500 volunteers to care for our environment. Every year these dedicated people donate around 70,000 hours of work. Many of these volunteers are associated with a park, reserve or community garden that holds some personal significance to them or to their community; and/or are actively contributing to sustainability initiatives such as repair cafes.
The Green Adelaide ‘Find Your Local Group’ Interactive Map – I want to volunteer | Green Adelaide is a great way to locate a volunteer group in your local area to see what environmental volunteering opportunities may be on offer.
In addition, check out our upcoming Courses and events | Green Adelaide for our ‘Come and Try Enviro Volunteering’ activities.
